The overall impact of propaganda used during World War 1 was very significant. It was significant because it impacted a lot of people’s emotions, fears, and hopes at the time that the war was commencing, at the climax and at the end of the war. The posters and the songs that were created at the time painted such an image to everybody of what they were going through because it was a time of chaos and destruction to everyone. The propaganda was so strong that it persuade a lot of men to join the war, a lot of women to take the men’s places while they were fighting and it took women to a religious state of mind as some put their faith in God so that their fellow loved ones in the war can come home save and sound. This is indicative to all propaganda used in wars because every nations wants people to stand up and fight so that the nation will not have to suffer at the end when they do get defeated because of the lack of people that participated in the war. There is a trend that propaganda uses and its uses people that represented their nation. Such as they can be putting that figure in danger, so that it can produce a sense of fear and hatred to the person reading it because they do not want that type of figure in danger in the hand of enemies.
